Full Mouth Rehabilitation is a type of anti-aging treatment we provide in our Naranpura, Bodakdev & Motera centers in Ahmedabad, where a person gets rejuvenation of his or her teeth and smile. It is observed that as the age advances, many people start losing their teeth, or teeth getting attrided, damaged or broken.
In many cases, because of daytime or night time grinding of teeth, which is also called Bruxism, the teeth gets worn out or attrided. As these damages or loss advances, the natural balance of teeth, muscles, joints and gums, given by nature, gets disturbed. As the car engine cannot run efficiently with different or variable air pressure in different wheel tires, same way, the whole stomatognathic system (teeth, jaws, muscles, gums & Joints) cannot work efficiently and start developing more damage, by the imbalance created by teeth loss and wear and tear.
As the teeth become more and more worn out, the vertical dimension of the jaws and of the face gets low. With this low vertical dimension of the jaws and face, commonly the face shows more wrinkles around the mouth corners, there is usually a less efficiency in food chewing and the most visible problem would be ugly worn out smile.

Diagnosis of the causes of teeth wear and teeth imbalance is very critical in whole treatment planning and execution. Our expert will go into the root cause with proper system of differential diagnosis and will design a customized treatment plan with mutual understanding.
Our team of prosthodontic specialists will analyze your present condition of teeth, gums, jaws and temporomandibular joints (TMJ); after which we may take diagnostic jaw impressions for study purpose, we may take full digital photographs and videos for study of your dentition, we may take face bow records of your jaws and skull and we will do digital smile design of your case.
After doing this comprehensive work up, we will discuss with you, about the causes of the damage and imbalance in chewing system, the options for regaining that balance and repair the damages of the teeth and to redesign your smile so that you will start looking younger and healthier than what you look now.
There are different modalities and levels of full mouth rehabilitation. You may be offered different options of treatment depending on your case, like jaw deprogrammer, removable stabilization splint, Mandibular advancement devices to simple night guards to be worn at night. In many cases full coverage of teeth with individual crowns (ceramic/porcelain crowns, zirconia crowns, E-max or lithium disilicate crowns) is required to gain the balance back.
Many cases need combination of these type of crowns with implants in few areas to support. In many cases, full mouth reconstruction with implants is required after removal of existing non salvageable teeth. Many cases can be managed with minimum teeth preparation or grinding of teeth with the help of veneers, laminates, table top restorations, inlays and onlays.
Time and expenses incurred in these treatments depend on the level of damage you are presented with, what type of treatment modalities are suggested for you by our rehabilitation experts and the type and quality of materials of crowns and implants we choose.
As per our experience, there is no higher age limit to go for this treatment. We have done full arch reconstruction with implants in the senior citizen of 91 years with full success. Teeth damages happened either because of Aging related teeth wear, Night grinding of teeth (Bruxism), Chemical erosion of teeth because of gastric hyperacidity and reflux (GERD), Amelogenesis Imperfecta (congenitally weak enamel) or because of Tobacco and Betel nut (supari/sopari) use; in all cases we are fully equipped and experienced to manage such situations very efficiently.
